Introducing CSV Import in Decoupla

We're thrilled to announce a powerful new feature in Decoupla: CSV Import. This functionality streamlines the process of populating your content models, making data migration faster and more efficient.

The new CSV import feature offers two flexible options to suit your workflow:

• Import CSV to existing Model: Integrate your CSV data into an existing content model. The interface allows you to map columns from your CSV file directly to the fields of your chosen model.
• Import CSV to new Model: You can now import a CSV file to generate a new model by specify the fields for each of the columns in the CSV file.

The import process is designed for simplicity:

• Initiate Import: From the "Entries" or "Models" section, click the "Import CSV data" button.
• Choose Import Type: Select whether to import into an existing model or create a new one.
• Upload CSV: Browse and select your CSV file.
• Map Fields (for existing models) or Define Model (for new models):
  • For existing models, visually map your CSV columns to your model's fields.
  • For new models, provide a model name and description, and then define the field names and types based on your CSV columns.
• Review and Import: Get a clear preview of your data before finalizing the import, ensuring accuracy and control.

Additionally, our import handles image fields. Simply specify the URL of your images within your CSV, and Decoupla will seamlessly import and link them to your content.
